What We Are

City Heights Village San Diego is a grass roots organization led by older adults who share their skills and support each other to navigate the challenges and opportunities of aging.  Modeled after the Village Movement that is growing across the nation, we are member-run by volunteers who work to connect seniors with the resources they need.  In addition to services for seniors at home, we also create opportunities for social interaction, which is so important to our health and happiness.  Drop-in socials, special events, and common interest groups are among the social events we make available.

Established in 2015 as a subsidiary non-profit under the San Diego City Heights Town Council 501c-3, donations are tax-deductible according to the rules of U.S. IRS tax code.

Who We Are

City Heights Village San Diego is run solely by volunteers who are neighborhood residents. Membership is open to anyone 50 and over in City Heights, San Diego:

Mission Statement

City Heights Village San Diego offers community-based solutions to improve quality of life  and expand choices at all stages of aging, empowering older adults to sustain independence through community and remain in charge of their lives as they age.
